An ACCOUNTANT has a little extra time on her hands in November, so she takes on some barter work for a RESTAURANT that found her through the National Commercial Exchange. She earns BARTER DOLLARS, which she opts to save for a bit.

When her busy season starts in January, she puts in a call to a TRAVEL AGENCY recommended by NCE and books a cruise to look forward to after the tax rush. She doesn't have to worry about cash flow issues, because she calls NCE and pays with her banked BARTER DOLLARS.

To cap it all off, she ends up with a FLORIST as a NEW CASH CLIENT who was referred by the RESTAURANT she bartered with. Thanks to the new way to barter, her business is expanding.
